For the longest time I thought writers were always just creative writing majors. I never thought I could do something like this. I do use my knowledge to an extent, but I definitely plan to have an entire novel/storyline around neuroscience in some way. It’s so fascinating to me and I know so much about it that I have to.
I knew from the moment I introduced Hope and Carter in A Kiss Beneath the Stars that their story was a special one. They were married with two young girls and they seemed to have everything together. But as I drove deep into these characters things became clear that even though on the outside, there were problems on the inside that they rarely showed to others.
Willow Creek centers around a group of friends and their uphill battle in all things love related. It will certainly take a bunch of feisty women to bring these boys to their knees. They aren't your typical heroes either. We have two mechanics, a vet and a Sheriff with a chip as big as Texas on his shoulder.
