As I’m writing a book, it isn’t unusual for me to be thinking three steps ahead to what’s going to happen in the next book... It’s even harder to keep all the juicy things to come a secret.

I get more free time than most. But it’s different when summer turns to fall and the house is quiet. 

Like revisiting Anson and Rae Lee in their second love story, spending time with Jake—three years after writing him—was a lot of fun.
