When you’re a writer, you have to find someone outside your four walls that understands your kind of crazy. I sent out an SOS last year and S.L. Sterling answered the call. Since then we've worked though blocks together and shared advice, encouraging one another along.
Her latest release, "In your Arms", came out on February 22. You can enter the giveaway here.
Q: Do you remember how we “met”?
I believe we met through Alessandra Torre Inkers group. I also remember we became writing buddies in the fall of last year. Helping one another stay on track with the projects we were working on.
Q: Author: dream job or never expected to be doing this?
Being an author has always been my dream job, although I always thought it was a dream that was out of reach until I learned of self-publishing.
Q: Name one positive thing that you didn’t expect when you decided to publish.
I really didn't realize how surreal it would be to actually hold my own words in my hands. The feeling never gets old, with every book baby I publish that feeling is still the same as it was the very first book.
Q: Of all your characters which is the most like you? (it can be a guy ;)
I would say Tatum's best friend Jen from It Was Always You is the most like me.
Q: What inspired “In Your Arms”?
I knew from the moment I introduced Hope and Carter in A Kiss Beneath the Stars that their story was a special one. They were married with two young girls and they seemed to have everything together. But as I drove deep into these characters things became clear that even though on the outside, there were problems on the inside that they rarely showed to others.
Q: What’s next for the Malone Brothers series?
Chase and Bryce are the two youngest brothers in The Malone Family. They too are lawyers in the firm and I think readers are going to love their stories.

Q: What’s your favorite social media (FB, Twit, IG, Pinterest, etc…)
I'm a social media junky. I would say my least favorite is Twitter and that is only because I cannot possibly convey a message in 140 characters.
Q: Puppy Question! You have two Malamutes. Do they ever get cold and what do you do to cool them off in the summer?
Malamutes are an amazing animal. Their coat is what protects them the most. Winter, yes, eventually, they get cold. I always gauge the temperature by how long they are outside for. There are nights in the winter I can't get them in the house at all. We had a bout of -40 degree weather with the windchill, they basically ran out the backdoor did their business and were back in the house. Summer time: To cool them off I will keep them in the house, they go to the basement most of the time where it is really cold from the air conditioning or they spend alot of time on the tile floor in the kitchen. If I find they get super hot I have a cooling pad that they can lay on.
Get your stalk on!
