As I’m writing a book, it isn’t unusual for me to be thinking three steps ahead to what’s going to happen in the next book... It’s even harder to keep all the juicy things to come a secret.

Since I started writing about Rae Lee and Anson solving cold cases, it’s not uncommon for me to say things out loud that are extremely unlike me.

I also freaked out a bit when I was approached to write a romance with characters who solve a cold case.
